Courtney Brown, Ph.D. is President of The Farsight Institute. He is also an Associate Professor of political science at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia. In his work at Emory University, he specializes in nonlinear mathematical modeling of social phenomena, environmental politics, and elections. He held the Charles Grove Haines Professorship at the University of California, Los Angeles and was a Hewlett Fellow at the Carter Presidential Center. He has written the following books:
